Offering benefits through a captive can help companies retain talent

Milliman consultant Mike Meehan will participate in a panel discussion during the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) 2019 Annual Conference. The panel entitled “Utilizing a Captive as a Talent Retention Tool” will also feature Crowe’s Daniel Kusaila and Marsh’s Anne Marie Towle. The panelists will discuss how organizations can use a captive to offer employees lifestyle benefits as part of a retention strategy.

Conference to highlight latest cyber risk threats and perspectives

Captive insurance panel to focus on best practices

On Monday, March 11, Milliman consultant Mike Meehan will participate in a panel discussion focusing on captive best practices at the Captive Insurance Companies Association’s 2019 International Conference. The panel, entitled “Best Practices for Forming and Operating a Captive,” will also feature EWI Risk Services’ Steve McElhiney, Ophthalmic Mutual Insurance’s Timothy Padovese, and JLT Insurance Management’s Anne Marie Towle.

The panelists will discuss the lessons they have learned from the various stages of a captive’s life cycle and describe how they’ve developed best practices based on their experiences. “I look forward to presenting with such a great group of recognized industry thought leaders, as we share our expertise as it relates to both single parent and group captive programs,” said Meehan.

Milliman consultant speaking at Mortgage Bankers Association forum
